Halloween in September

For some reason, I thought that it was the end of October already. I was getting all excited for my friend Will's party (that's on Halloween), too. When I went out and bought candy, I decided that I wanted to give out the candy to some of my friends. Hahaha, I felt pretty strange just bringing a bunch of candy on a random day to school. It was actually rather fun seeing lots of my friends smile over such a small thing. It was worth it!

Another strange (random) thing is: I like vinegar chips! They're my favorite kind. Now that I think about it, I also like cheddar chips. But I don't like ranch (for salad). I don't like onions either. I'm pretttty sure that I don't like liver too. (random food facts!~)

Beans and blueberries have a lot of antioxidants in them. I'm proud of those cute little snacks! (snacks?) If you have the opportunity to eat them, go ahead! They're great for your heart!

When you see the biggest smile on someone's face, feel glad that you know true happiness still exists.

At Catherine's House!

This weekend, I had a super time at Catherine's house. Ha ha ha, it really was a lot of fun. There was chocolate, scary movies, "girl talk" and every thing else!

We actually went to Target to buy some chocolate, because of a ridiculous television show that showed a European bakery making some sweets that consisted of a chocolate over chocolate cake! We were practically drooling on the screen, so we decided that we needed some real chocolate. That's where Target came in handy!

One of the funnier things about Catherine's house is her dogs; one in particular is very stinky. It'll bark at me every time I come into its vision, even when I've been there all day. Eventually, I just started laughing at it, because it started getting so ridiculous it was amusing. I felt bad though, because her mom would have to shush it down every time. Maybe that actually made it a little bit more funny... or maybe not.

I had a great weekend, but I have a feeling that school isn't going to be as great tomorrow. Not to mention... tomorrow is picture day. Ahh!! The horror! I'm just going to slap on some regular clothes, because in my case, the picture will turn out bad no matter what I do. x3

Here is a super cute guy called Panda Apple that I have on my Sanrio pen.<33

This Anticipated Friday

Friday is always supposed to be a great day full of excitement. Y'know, the weekend and all! I couldn't bring myself to feel happy or glad at all that its Friday. Maybe that had a little to do with a certain Chemistry test.

I got a good grade on the quiz, but I know for a fact that the actual test didn't go as well. That caused a bit of stress for the rest of the day, but of course I'm back to normal now.

Thanks to my GREAT buddies Kris and Rian, I've found a bunch of new bands from Pandora! Thank you guys soooo much!

Something amazing happened today... I cleaned my room. Even more amazing, no one told me to do it. Actually, I realized that when some one tells me to do something, I'm less likely to do it. (strange logic)

My English teacher gets on my nerves. I get the feeling that she's impatient and a little overconfident. Maybe that feeling will smother itself and my eyes will pass over those traits of hers.
We're reading a great book, Fahrenheit 451. Some of the kids in my class don't like it, but I'm utterly fascinated by it. It makes me chew my lips in concentration. That only happens when I'm really into something. I actually do get excited when I think about what may happen in that book.

I feel like my good Karma is coming back to me, because of all the great friends who are there for me. Thanks, guys. =3

Today.

Today was the first real day of me becoming a vegetarian. I think it went rather well! Honestly, I thought some of my friends would think that it was a bad idea or I couldn't do it, but they didn't. In fact, the two friends that I told completely (if saying, "Torture adds more to the flavor!" counts) supported me. That made me so ecstastic! Thank you Jackie and Will!

Today, I got a 94 on my Chemistry quiz! I seriously couldn't believe it; I wasn't that confident in taking the test. Hahaha, you should have seen my eyes pop out at my grade. Yay! Splendid! Today really was a great day!

Deciding Blunders

A lot of things have been changing lately. I'm going through ridiculous mood swings for no reason in particular. Its actually very funny. Looking back at my behavior really amuses me!

Well!! I've been thinking about it for a while, but now I've finally decided. I'm going to become a vegetarian. Even though I know it'll be difficult, I'm still looking forward to it. My reasons for doing this are: 1) I'm not a big fan of meat in general. 2) Thinking about eating animals almost seems like cannibalism, since we're pretty much made of the same stuff. 3) It seems like a challenge!

I'll update my "status" on how this is going. Who knows? Maybe I don't have enough incentive to make it work; maybe it'll be extremely easy.

I finished Breaking Dawn a while ago, but I never posted it, I guess. Now that I've actually seen a commercial for the Twilight movie, I'm looking forward to it. It seems like a very.... Lovely! movie.

Today, I gave one of my friends some manga suggestions. I'll suggest them to you too!

Read:
Superior

Lovely Complex
Both of them are quite touching! If you're bored, then go ahead and check out mangafox.com and search for the titles.

And then this happened.

Caleb ended up not finishing his work. I think that it is partially my fault for not setting up the perfect "work setting". He didn't get to play video games, though.

There was a lot of crying in my family today. I probably won't go into details, but it was very unsettling. One of the larger details involved a totaled car. Yeah, I know what you're thinking... Or maybe not.. but this was a pretty dramatic day. At least we got some pizza out of it.

I do want to say one thing about my little Gaia Chatterboxians. Today they (three out of normally none) helped me, and gave me a lot of encouragement for the thing that was hurting me. They even offered to discuss it in private messages (pm's). That really made me happy. Normally the cool kids (hahaha) on Gaia will say something like this, "Oh BBY. That's bad!" or "WTFBBQ?!" It makes me feel a little comforted that people on Gaia would really discuss my problems with me so easily. (maybe it wasn't easy, though) Thank you!

Just so you know... I think that if you have faith in what you do, if you really will it to happen, then it will work out in the best way possible. Please work hard and accomplish your dreams. Take a soothing walk and relieve your stresses just because it makes you feel good. Be a bright individual!♥
Today I'm baby-sitting Caleb again. He's so amusing, but he can also be a bit difficult too.
He got in trouble last night with his parents because he didn't do a specific set of pages in his workbook, so today he has to finish pages 3-14 before his parents pick him up. Of course, being at another house means different things (than normal) to do. Naturally, this would be pretty difficult to sit and finish while you know you could be playing an interesting video game or with someone else's toys. (that would be my nephew's toys, by the way)
He'll say, "I'm hungry!" or, "I can't breathe."
Hahaha, it cracks me up just as much as it annoys me.
My mind generates thoughts like, "If he would just concentrate, he would get it done quickly."

Right now, I tried making a deal with him (in a sour attempt to make him work faster) in which he would have to get through page 10 within the hour and we could play a video game for another hour. He said, "Okay!"

We'll see how it goes. Later when I update, I'll tell you how it worked out. (Crazy kid!)

♠Yesterday, I got seriously addicted to this Playstation 2 game I've had for a while, Ty the Tazmanian Tiger. Caleb (the kid I'm babysitting) wanted to play some different video games than Katamari, so I showed him Spyro and that one. In the process, I got re-addicted to it.
I don't think I've ever really been that enthralled with a game. There's this option where you can zoom in with a certain item and shoot people from a far distance. That's what won me. x3
♠My sister and I (yesterday) went to Sonic to get a treat. She got a banana split and I got a blast! We both sat there, talking, while we ate. The windows were down and the music was on. It was all kind of relaxing until my sister saw a grasshopper on the edge of the car about to come in. I told her to swat it away, but she huddled back from it. After I started laughing, she yelled, "Ahh! It's on your head!" Wildly, I grabbed for my head and made a right mess of my hair. Nothing was there.
It was very fun, even though my sister TRICKED me. xD
♠Do you remember the Korean show My Girl that I was talking about? Well, we're still not finished. It's gotten really good, but there are so many things happening at once. There's the jealous Tennis star ex-girlfriend and then a rich playboy trying to tear apart the main coupling. There are also a lot of tears and trickster jokes.
By trickster jokes, I mean:
•If you hold your breathe when you're in an elevator until you get to the bottom your wish will come true.
•If you count to five, your true love will appear in front of you.
It is very interesting, though. Definitely interesting enough to keep watching, that's for sure. :3
I may post a bit later today, so look forward to it! (hahaha, sure... x3)

If you've ever been unprepared...

It's nothing compared to how I felt. Or maybe it is... But today I definitely felt uncomfortably unprepared.

I woke up to the sound of the doorbell ringing. "Crap", was the only thing really running through my head. I jumped out of bed and scrambled around for something to make me look presentable. A blanket would have to do.
I opened the door and, as expected, it was Caleb, a little eight year old that I babysit. If I could have been more embarrassed, I would have been.
"Your mom didn't tell you that we were coming?"
"No.. she did..", I muttered.
Ahh!
It really was terrible!

Not to mention, my room was a disaster! I was supposed to clean it last night or before Caleb came in the morning.
Luckily for me, Caleb had to do some workbook pages before we did anything else, so I sat him on the couch and rushed to my room.

Needless to say, I felt like a right idiot. Procrastinating is despicable.
If you read this, please laugh and point and make me feel bad. That way I won't let something like this happen again.

I can't even begin to describe how I feel about the Twilight movie. Cedric Diggory?! He's the new heart-throb for basically the entire nation and more?! Gah. I don't feel too keen on it. Maybe he'll look dazzling with lots of vampiric makeup on. Maybe he'll look ridiculous. Still, I just don't like the idea in general. I suppose that won't keep me from seeing the actual movie, but it will make me a little reluctant.

And then the day starts!

Last night I had a crazy dream. For some reason, I had twins (and no, I'm not actually a mother). Both the girl and boy would follow me no matter what I was doing. Strangely, the girl never said much, keeping quiet throughout the dream. The boy on the other hand, was extremely annoying. He couldn't quit moving around and he'd trip and fall when I told him to calm down. I scolded him and then (ahhh! weird!) he turned into a cookie that lost its arms and legs. That part was actually kind of touching, because the cookie-son had a sad expression on his face. Since I didn't know what else to do, I put him in my shirt pocket, checking on him every so often.
That was the only part of my dream that had the twins in it. I think I actually miss the little buggers.

I read a quote in a blog yesterday, but the only part that really appealed to me is this, "Never regret anything that made you smile." That's one of the truest things I've ever heard. Don't forget it!

When I went on photobucket today, I was looking for a good chocolate picture. Of course, there were perverted ones (that's like.. to be expected nowadays), but there were also a lot of cute ones. This is the one I liked the best. I think it is very cute!

For quite a while now, I've been sitting here sifting through blogs and being inspired. There was one (ironically, the one I like the most) that had a lot of interesting things in it, like game links, videos and amusing stories. There were more about moms buying their children bizarre toys and old men talking about politics. Since I just started blogging, I'm surprised that I've already seen so many fantastic things.

Because of the hurricane, the electricity at home went out. (shocker) Luckily, my mom let my sister and I go to the hospital with her (where she works) and kind of relax in the break room. One of the pharmacists brought this DVD series of this Korean drama "My Girl" to watch since they had to stay over night. She told my sister and I that we could watch it if we liked. At first, we weren't sure (You know... subtitles and all) but we stuck it in there.

It was the most hilarious thing! The characters would flail and jump around like toddlers. It was a real crack up. There were actually 9 disks, two episodes (hour each) on each. Naturally, we weren't able to watch all of it. Hahahaha, it was very good though.
Imagine my surprise when my mom came home today and handed me the case? All the bright colors popping out, I took it from her.
That's probably what I'll be doing for the rest of my school break, watching this Korean drama. I recommend it, really!
